Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

B/CS is, by and large, a pizza desert. As a rule, there's not much here with anything approaching the the distinctive pizza personality of New York, Chicago, or California pizza. I do love a good pizza, though, so I tend to try places that stake their reputations on pizza. Antonio's is a pizza-only place, and they sell by the slice, by the pizza, and they have both eat-in and delivery. They have a restaurant in Providence, RI, as well, which is a town I'm very familiar with, and which takes its pizza fairly seriously. I like Antonio's. I don't love it. But for a quick lunch out from work, it's perfectly enjoyable. They make lots of pizzas half way (cooking the crust, laying toppings on top), and display them in a case so you can pick out your slice of choice and they'll cook it for you on the spot in their hot oven. It's a system that works very well, especially when the place isn't packed. And some of the pizzas are tasty. The crust is maybe a wee bit too thick in my view for this genre of pizza. No, it's not like Chicago deep dish -- and isn't trying to be, to its credit -- and it's not this too-doughy-icky stuff like they serve at Cafe Eccel. But still, I wish it was a bit thinner, crispier. Toppings vary, and I can almost always find two types of slices I'm happy to have. I go veggie most of the time. Their margherita pizzas are solid. They make pizzas with an acceptable pesto that has good flavor. They make a slice with artichokes that I enjoy. So there's something for me every time.

Good pizza. Good prices. Makes me wish I had something like this near me. I was in College Station for the day and my sister was showing me a few of her old spots.
(4)Sandra F.
Delicious pizza. The Great White is a must-have for cheese lovers! Each time I order here, I get sick...because I eat a whole pizza by myself! I also approve of the selection of pizza. I highly enjoy the tortellini pizza as well. I recommend Antonio's to pizza-cravers everywhere!
(5)Joe E.
Great price, great pizza. Perfect for drunken nights at northgate or just to skate to during the day. Great stoner munches, quality food. Cute chicks working and jamming rad music, one of em gave me a free extra slice. 2 slices and a drink = $4. Love this place, fuckin A.
(5)JM J.
Yeah...because that's EXACTLY what I want after a night out at Northgate...extremely greasy pizza. That outta help a LOT. Hate going here and avoid it at all costs...inadequate seating at lunch (have no idea why or what people see in this place), loud, bad pizza. At least the employees are nice. Does not make up for the lousy pizza, unfortunately. I gave them a few chances...pizza sucked every time...not going there again.
(1)Piotr U.
Clearly no one in Texas knows what good pizza is.
(2)Greg D.
Wow, what in the hell happened at Antonio's? The pizzas here seemed to be unique but struggling with proper toppings but somehow it seems that something has changed and everyone is starting to talk about it as two of our friends recently mentioned the same thing. I no longer care that the lobby tables are always pretty much totally trashed. We give up and it's okay. Antonio's, this location only, now has the distinction that my 1111th Yelp review does give 5 stars to a place that has dirty tables like, all day. The pizza types here seem to be experimental and constantly changing and I would like to believe that the listened to customer input contributed to the effect that all of the sudden the pizza got like perfect in kind of a scary manner. It came to everything that you knew it could an then and now seems the consistent, new? Delivery has been fast as hell. Two of our last three deliveries have been by this cool redhead Rachael. Ask for her, haha! :) She is so nice and we like her. If ordering delivery make sure to ask for parm cheese and pepper packets as they won't bring them if you don't ask. I'm surprised to be saying that I think this pizza joint is worth travel to, even if from Houston or Austin... The crust they are turning out obviously comes from a cleaner than tap water supply and that's the perfect palate for an ever changing experimental pizza.
(5)Hunter H.
Best pizza ever. Try the steak and bacon or chicken bacon ranch. They're truly life changing
(5)André A.
Quality has improved pretty consistently since I last reviewed. Still not my favorite (dry/boring crust), but the original toppings offered by the slice make for a good quick lunch. Their 2 for 3 deal is also a great deal.
(4)Steven L.
Best lunch deal in CS. Slices just sit until you want them. Most diverse toppings I have ever seen. Spinach mushroom pesto is a winner. Super vegetarian friendly.
(3)Mark M.
Resident of NYC here. I know good pizza. I'm in town on business and ordered the buffalo chicken blue cheese. De-mother-effin-licious. Price wasn't bad either. Beware - the tack on a "delivery fee" to their pizzas. It took about an hour. Half of it is left and I'm considering eating the rest and dealing with the consequences.
(4)Chelsea T.
Oh, Antonio's. How I missed you when I lived in Austin. Pizza is great/fantastic/novel/delicious. Online ordering is a terrible idea. If you want to place a delivery order, for the love of God, call. The website they use for it doesn't process your orders until long after you've submitted them. When I called to ask where my pizza was, the woman on the phone was polite, but also mentioned that the online ordering system is atrocious. One more time, in case I was unclear: Do not order it online. Call to enjoy their delicious pies delivered.
(4)Ajalavat V.
I like Bacon chicken ranch, you should try it!!!
(4)Greg M.
Much better pizza than I would have expected, particularly as it was a game day and they were cranking them out. Not as good as Little City or Home Slice, but good. They seriously need some outdoor tables, though. Not sure why they don't have any. It would sure make it a more pleasant experience if you could sit down outside.
(4)Grant N.
Good after the bar pizza and lunch pizza place. They have some wired combos on pizza, but they are good.
(4)Jimmy H.
Antonio's has a huge selection of pizza options, with some weird (intriguing) combinations I've seen, so there's just about something for everyone here. Service is quick and very friendly, not to mention the prices are pretty affordable. The ingredients are pretty fresh and my pizza slices are always hot and gooey. I'll sometimes see flies sorta flying around above the pizza (closer to the lights and bags of water that they use to keep the flies away from the food), so that worries me a little when I see them. The location is pretty small so it's hard to find somewhere to sit even if you're with just one friend. Then again, it's easy to leave with your food and eat elsewhere.
(3)Mary P.
I must admit I usually came here after running up and down Northgate trying to avoid being humped by wild animals (the guys that prowl) and got a slice of something unique. The service is good, selection is fun, and the restaurant is always torn up from the usual rowdy college crowd. However it makes no difference when you put that freshly heated slice in your mouth. Its also delicious in the afternoon without the help of inebriation.
(5)Walter P.
When the pizza is fresh, you can't beat the selection and tast!
(4)Shah S.
Awesome Pizza!!! I agree 100% with the other reviewers. This is some of the best pizza I have had. Try the Sausage/Pepperoni or the Chicken Parmigiana Pizza. Both are excellent.
(4)Joyce A.
They should have a pizza place like this in every city. The servers have attitude, but you only talk with them for 5 minutes. The pizza comes in big thin slices, usually perfectly toasted. I've heard of some off soggy days, but have never had a problem. Love the cheese, pepperoni, spinach and feta. My favorite is the portabello, pesto, and mozzerella, but they don't always have it available during slow times.
(4)Bevin M.
If you can imagine it on a pizza, Antonio's probably already has it ready to go! We were lucky to beat the lunch rush, so we had time to be indecisive and chat with everyone behind the counter. They were so friendly and offered their suggestions and favorites. I had the potato pizza which was crisp and delicious, though could have used a bit more flavor; maybe onions? My sister had a slice with black beans, feta, tomato, and avocade- awesome! They have salad's now (or so the sign said with many exclamation marks!) so I felt a bit better about my total carb fest. I would definitely go back if I am ever near campus
(4)Neal L.
OMG! This pizza had a crispy cracker outer crust with a little chew to it and puffy 'crunch' when you bite in. They put it through a quick trip in the oven and it gets all the flavors rolling... I had the fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato. As noted, SO GOOD. It cost about $3.25 for a LARGE slice. In reality, it's two slices (I asked them to cut it). You will not regret the pizza eating experience at ANTONIO'S!
(5)Angel H.
Best pizza slices in town! A lot of varieties of toppings I've tried them all.
(5)Alex H.
Best Pizza in College Station, Best Pizza for the price in Texas (in my experience). Huge slices, good prices, loaded toppings (go to a fancy pizza place and order artichokes. see how much you get. Go to Antonio's and do the same, you'll be amazed)
(5)Jes J.
I grabbed a slice of pesto, artichoke and chicken pizza when I came up for NSC in June. It was delicious!! What a great first experience of CSTAT restaurants.
(5)Jessica Y.
I love Antonio's for big NY-style thin crust pizzas. If you go after the bars close, the line is ridiculously long, but at other times the service is really quick. My favorites are the mushroom pizza and the tortellini pizza. They have such an enormous selection of pizzas that there is sure to be something to suit every taste bud.
(5)Ashleigh F.
Open late and perfect for a night after bar hopping.
(4)Brett C.
If it's 2am on the weekend and you aren't here, there is no excuse. The creativity they bring to the table can only be described as scrumptious. I lived on campus @ A&M freshman year, had a campus meal plan, and thanks to my daily and conveniently located Antonio's, ended up with over 40 meals I never used. I recommend ordering an entire pizza with a few friends if you have time, but they do deliver. The prices run you around $3 a slice and $14-$16ish for the whole pie and take about 20 mins. If you're new in town I recommend the chicken parm and chicken quesadilla to start.
(5)Sarah B.
Extremely good pizza and amazing, unique flavors with an awesome price tag. The service is usually very good and always amusing. I work on campus, and this makes a great place to run to for a quick lunch.
(5)Kelly H.
so i was ok with this place for a while, then was highly disturbed by my last experience to the extent that i will never eat this pizza again--ordered a pizza, put leftovers in fridge to find that the cheese turns a very unappetizing color the next day. gross.
(1)Lindsey J.
Oh Antonios, how i love thee! Open until 3am, this place is perfect for committing the dreaded deed of late night eating (Dun Dun Dun!). Who could resist pizza made in the most original combinations your mouth has ever experienced? Obviously not many, seeing as how the line gets pretty outrageous. Even so, it moves along at a good pace and you always meet interesting people. These creatively tasty pizzas keep me coming back, even in the daylight...
(5)Jarrek H.
Pizza is wonderful. We take the kids when school is out or during the week. Also fun to grab a slice after drinking on Northgate. My only complaint is the music on a Sunday during lunch was far from appropriate. I know I choose where to take my kids to eat. However, when they are blaring gangster rap with nothing but my wife and I and our three kids in the shop, you'd think someone would have enough sense to at least turn it down a notch so the kids don't have to hear "b#@ch suck my d*@#" over the radio. Just saying. That has only been an issue once in the many times I've been so I'm sure it was just one idiot employee. So they still get my 4 stars.
(4)Robert T.
Considering the amount of times I have decided to dine at Antonio's (10+ occasions) I would have to say they offer some of the best pizza in College Station. However, I have seen a lot of flies during the summer months, not on the food, just in the dining area. -one of the only places that was open during the blackout of '07
(4)Cory O.
Heaven by the slice. Oh wait, I think it was supposed to be pizza by the slice. Regardless, it will be heaven in your mouth. Antonio never fails to provide delicious pizzas, fast service, and friendly workers. Yes, it can fill up pretty quickly, but all the more reason to take your food to go and sit in a park. I love that they don't have just boring pizzas. I have enjoyed every strange combination that I've tried there and I miss this place now that I'm gone. It has a great location, though the after bar scene on Thursdays is a bit much for me. This is definitely worth checking out, especially since the quality of that Little Caesar's around the corner is so awful.
(5)Kelly F.
Mmm, Antonio's Pizza by the Slice. The first couple of times I had Antonio's it was after a night of heavy drinking on Northgate, but eventually I got over getting being plastered all the time and had pizza at Antonio's stone cold sober, and you know what?!, it's JUST AS GOOD. For those of you who have consumed food while drunk, you know that this means the food is seriously awesome. My personal favorites are the Black Bean Avocado (I am a BIG avocado fan), Buffalo Chicken Bleu Cheese (ditto for the bleu cheese), Fresh Mozzarella Tomato Basil (fresh mozzarella!), and Spicy Chicken Quesadilla (I really love the chips and the sour cream). I have a friend who always orders plain cheese pizza here because she says it's so good that it doesn't need any toppings to help it out. It's located on Northgate, so parking can be a bitch on the weekends, but if you're on-campus, it's a great spot for lunch (though it can get a little crowded) between classes. They take credit cards, but only if you spend $5 or more, so make sure you have cash if you're only hungry for one slice. The only real issue I have with Antonio's is that sometimes the pizza doesn't get hot enough in the little oven thing that they put it through to warm it up (kind of like at Quizno's only way more awesome). I have no idea if they'll put it through again for you as I've never asked, but I'm assuming that they might if they weren't real busy. Also, if you do happen to be drunk and stumble in, the employees deal wonderfully with inebriated students, which I have to give them mad props for because drunk people suck. I know as I have been one on many occasions. ------- ETA on 3/3/2008: I'm knocking off one star because the pizza here isn't as good as Homeslice's (in Austin) and they don't have enough veggie options (really it's just that the veggie options aren't as good as the meat options). However, it's still damn good for CSTX, so if you're in town, you should totally check it out.
(4)Landon G.
Right in the middle of Northgate, Antonios is great for a quick lunch, dinner, or late night slice. Reminds me of the thin-crust pizza joints at the mall without the grease. I used to walk here with my friends for lunch once or twice a week in undergrad. I've had some non-traditional pizza before but Antonio's has a lot of variety (along with the usual styles) for a cheap price. There's bbq, mexican, potato, buffalo chicken, and whatever else they try to make. Try to go when it's fresh though and you'll be back again.
(4)Jennifer W.
New York Style Pizza. College Station, Texas. Doesn't seem to go together right? I was skeptical too, but I have never been let down by Antonio's. They have an amazing selection. Anything from your classic pepperoni, which they don't mess up like most places, BBQ chicken pizza, potato bacon which features two kinds of cheeses, rosemary and a butter sauce, to their seafood pizza which features shrimp, crab meat, dill and a butter sauce, Antonio's gets it right. Paying attention to the details, like including fresh herbs such as basil, rosemary, and dill sets this pizza over the top. Whether I'm in the mood for my favorite, a classic, foldable, big slice of pepperoni, or if I'm in the mood for something more exotic, I can count on Antonio's. Another plus, the guys behind the counter are friendly and funny to boot.
(5)Jason V.
This is your quintessential "I'm-drunk-and-want-quick-food-before-going-home" pizza. It's not gourmet pizza, but when you've had a fun night on Northgate and want a quick bite to eat at 3am, you don't have many choices. It's also close to campus (right across from Northside) and nicely priced. My only caution is to beware of the LOOOOOONG lines after/during the 2am bar rush.
(4)Lacey W.
Having never eaten pizza in New York, I can't comment on the authenticity of Antonio's Pizza, but it's pretty tasty. I never get anything too exciting-- usually a slice of pepperoni or Hawaiian-- but the service is quick and friendly, it's walking distance from campus, and it's more than reasonably priced. The tables are pretty dirty most of the time, but they do a brisk business for most of the day. It's a by-the-slice pizza joint; my cleanliness expectations are pretty low. It's good enough for me.
(4)Jacqueline S.
Well, i had my first sober visit to antonio's..and i'm happy to say it was equally as delicious as I remember it being on post-NG nights. They have really unique flavors (6 cheese, bbq, buffalo chicken, nacho), and its also relatively cheap. This place is great, and its a post bar staple.
(5)ooj w.
Let me start out with the good. The location, and ambiance. I wish more pizza-by-the-slice places would adapt to the "Employee's Choice" playlists instead of the mundane radio. The toppings selection is both unusual and good. The bad? Food. Let me just say that the reasons this place is doing good is because 1) it's in little College Station where pizza is easier to sell I guess and no other well knows pizza by the slice joints, 2) It's at north gate, conveniently located and open til 3am on the weekends. Yea thats probably has to do something with the bars/drunk/starvin-yet-there-aren't-alot-of-Âplaces-open-anymore people. 3) It's a good place to sit and eat or people watch. If this place was in Dallas or Houston, with the same product, it would not survive. The pizza had little flavor, cheese was avg., the sauce was sweet, the crust was a non-factor(They haven't mastered the reheating the slice from an already cooked pizza without burning it)
(2)H. Y.
I like a broad variety of pizzas there, about 32 choices. I have tried at least 7-8 flavors there and most of they are taste good. And the price there is reasonable. I gave it 5 star because of good service quality and short waiting time, but what's more, the diversified choices of Pizza and the taste!!
(5)ed y.
Nice variety of eclectic and traditional pizzas. Cheaper by the pie than Domino's or Papa John's. But the crust is inferior to Papa John's. And despite staying open late after bars close, you may not be able to order a whole pie past 9 P.M.. Worse still, I have ordered at night to find the meat topping dry. When its fresh, its pretty good, but not so much to steer me away from Papa John's.
(3)Chad B.
First of all, I will preface this by stating that I eat at Antonio's about twice a month, and will continue to return but while the atmosphere and the late hours make it a great late night stop on Northgate, there is much to be desired from the food. The pizza is sub-par with other pizza by the slice places I have had, even within the state of Texas. I completely agree with I J. that this place would not survive if placed in Dallas, Houston or a suburb of either. That said it is a decent late-night stop with a great late night eating opportunity, friendly staff and so-so pizza.
(3)andrew n.
I was very skeptical about getting decent, let alone good pizza in Texas. I was born and raised here and grew up getting pizza from pizza smut and the like, so when I moved back to Texas and we discovered Antonio's Pizza I was thinking it would be...of dubious quality at best. This is great pizza. My partner, an Italo-American from New Jersey, says it's some of the best pizza he's had in his recollection and I have to agree. This pizza coud easily rival many New York pizzerias and with a comparable price. Hands down, I'm an Antonio's fan.
(5)Marcus H.
pizza fans!!!! if you love pizza and yes you must try antonios and you will love it i mean big new york size wooo hooo!!!!!
(5)Cara G.
Wow. If at ALL possible, avoid when the bars are closing -- but duh, that's what makes this place sooo fab. Last night I had the Avocado Chicken Quesadilla pizza -- jeez, I have no idea why tortilla chips on pizza crust is sooo good, maybe it's the thinness of the crust that makes this work? We snuck in around 12A and the line only had 5 people, awesomeness. This is definitely the place my former Aggie friends & I look forward to the most when we come in for games. One local BCS friend thinks the appeal of Antonio's is only for the drunks -- but I'm usually the DD, and I seriously heart me some Antonio's. I think it's the craziness & novelty of their flavors, and I've never gotten a straight up pepperoni (how I think you can really tell a pizzaria's worth), but hey -- it definitely works for me. And $3 a slice? Awesome. Sure, they make mondo money off their $4 sodas or whatever, but who needs drinks anyway? Yums.
(5)Andrey M.
Best affordable pizza in town! By far the best tasting pizza in town. If you come on weekend nights, expect them to be full of drunk students trying to sober up. The variety of pizza is good, and the staff is pretty quick to serve it!
(5)Bud G.
The pizza here is mediocre at best. No telling how long it's cooked for. They simply reheat it for you . Dining area is small and parking is very limited. It's a location you eat at but feel like you should go eat something better somewhere else. The pizza comes out on small paper plates which are way to small for the slice of pizza. The three of us decided to go eat somewhere else later. Parking is very limited and the chefs are really not very friendly. No one asked how your food was and its sad to see many of the other reviews are "Not Recommended" and in a shaded out file.
(2)Sarah G.
Best pizza in town!! Wish the location was easier to get to, then just on Northgate! But the different pizza types are crazy!! So many awesome choices, and they are all amazing!
(5)Jenny W.
I gave it four stars only because if you go when it's not busy, the toppings on the pizza would be dry, which doesn't get better when the pizza's warmed up in the oven. Other than that this is a great place for a cheap and quick meal. They always have specials and the pizza slices are as big as your face. The toppings are unique compared to standard pizza places like dominos or papa johns. There's tortellini, fajita pizza, deep dish with pepperoni (yum), garden pizza (tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella cheese, yum) and many more. This place gets very busy around 2am or later from Thursdays to Saturday, since that's when the club goers are out seeking food.
(4)Fara M.
This place was my first College Station culinary experience so it has a special place in my heart. A large pizza and a salad after a long day of moving in this scorching heat was exactly what I needed, and boy did it hit the spot. I've since had the honey BBQ wings and the chicken parm calzone. The food is bomb and the delivery service is always quick. For the price, you would expect some sloppy, flavorless, straight-out-the-freezer garbage. But alas, you open up the box and you're greeted by something delicious and made with lots of love.
(5)Richa T.
Definitely a great alternative to dominos! I highly recommend this place if you're in Northgate and want a quick bite to eat. Pros: + Pizza by the slice - don't have to get more than you can eat + excellent variety + great vegetarian options + awesome exotic options + frequent flyer coupons (buy X slices, next one is free) Cons: - crowded - a little expensive: a couple of slices are almost the cost of a pizza somewhere else.
(4)Cassandra O.
Don't really know why this place has 4 stars. They have a lot of creative options but the pizza taste like cardboard. I got the buy 2 get 3 special. I let the 3rd slice waste away in my fridge. The best pizza I've ever had was from a place in Denver. I feel like they are trying to be good but don't quite make it. Don't be fooled by the hype and presentation of the pizza. I would order dominos before coming here again.
(2)Justin W.
Antonio's pizza actually offers more than just pizza. My favorite item on the menu is their barbeque chicken calzone and I have heard their wings are good as well. Have been coming here since I have started going to northgate. The pizza tastes plainish sober, but like heaven after a night on northgate. The people that work here have always been extremely nice to me. I think that they recognize me as the only person who comes in on weeknights to pick up my calzone near closing time and I always appreciate being recognized for my loyalty. Will continue coming here for their calzone and 2am pizza.
(4)Julie W.
This place has the best selection of delicious pizza combinations ever!! And you pay by the slice so you can try a few different slices each visit. It also makes gray left overs, so buy a few to take home.
(5)Hunger E.
NOTORIETY: Pizza by the slice FOOD: Pepperoni pizza: Classic type of pizza but it was crispy after they ran it through their revolving belt oven. Good size and flavor overall. It was about $2.50 a slice though. OVERALL: Def. worth coming back, esp since they have many varieties, including unique flavors. NOTES: 1. Lunch special (Monday Through Friday only): Buy 2 slices of pizza & get a free drink. 2. Afternoon special (Monday Through Friday only): I believe buy 2 slices & get the 3rd free.
(4)Kali W.
Worst experience ever,we got it for take out and they gave us spoiled Merinara sauce so bad never again will I eat there,I hope you don't either!
(1)Ben R.
The white pizza will always have a place in my heart. lots of memories at Antonio's... mostly around 2AM when the bars close. Also, Antonio's usually has really good lunch specials!
(4)Avinash H.
Quick service...good options for pizza most of the times (Except afte 2am on weekends :) ) quite economical... This is all I expect from a pizza place...there...take 5 stars!
(5)Robert B.
Plus a half a star. First off let's start with the specials they offer from 11-5 and then 7-11. I sadly went at 6 and wasn't able to partake in the specials. Nevertheless plenty of good deals to try different types of pizza. As per pizza: They have a bunch of different options which is good and bad because you can have a lot of trouble deciding what to get. Or you can get too gutsy and get something that wasn't your cup of tea. The prices are okay. Majority of the slices are at the $3.25 mark. Not bad pricing for specialty pizza. Although &2.20 for a cheese slice is a little over the top. Personally I think $1.75 is about as high as I go for a plain cheese slice Anyways. Pretty good place if you get the specials. One day I'll order a pie to see what a fresh pizza from this place is like. Happy fooding.
(3)Katie K.
Antonio's has really good whole pizzas made to order - fresh mozzarella, fresh basil that they put on after it's cook so it doesn't get toasted, those awesome, meaty, roasty portabellas that are just one tick below burning (in a great way) - same Antonio's pizza you like, but fresh and not reheated, so you love! It's also acceptably tasty by the slice if you're on Northgate and didn't eat or have your drunky pants on. The slices are fully cooked, and laid out in front of your hungry little eyes so you can see everything, then they toss it in the conveyor belt oven to heat it. It's also thoughtfully separated into meat pies and veggie pies, and they even have a veggie pizza special (very nearly) everyday, too! TOMATO IS THE BEST. I know right, blurgh, tomato, what a lamezoid, but it's the perfect trio of thin crust, minimal sauce beefed up by tomatoes, and cheese...and herbs. Trio! Fresh mozz and basil, and pesto portabella are my next favorites. Whatever it is liberally sprinkle it with the garlic powder, herbs, and cheeses they have on the tables before you leave if you take it to go. You gotta have that garlic breath for your date. They have all these crazy bananas toppings combos, like burrito stuff and nacho stuff and all the stuff man. I've never tried them, because they're always meaty. I think I'm ok with that, though. They almost always have buy two slices, get a 3rd slice or drink for free, and it's already cheap. Bottom line: drunky or starvin' Marvin, get a ready made slice. Special treat from that place you usually get a pretty ok tasty slice, order afresh made whole pizza.

Great variety in pizza! The chicken burrito is my favorite. Their lunch special is super awesome too! Check it out!

You people are clearly drunk. This pizza is mediocre at best. I guess it's all about location, location, location. If you put a below average pizza place amongst a bunch of college bars of course students will love it. Don't go here in less you're feeling nostalgic.

I was at Antonios after the TAMU vs Lamar Game on Sept 7th 2014. I am an alumni of Texas A&M and drove a long way to come here. I was in the line for about 25 minutes to get to order my pizza. I ordered 4 pizza slices and was wanting to order one additional pizza for a friend who was on the phone. The guy decided to put me out and called the bouncer to get me out. I felt it was very rude and racist since I was Asian. I bet he would not have done the same thing if there was an american there. I agree that they have good business going on. But this is no way to treat any customer. You need bouncers to throw drunk people. I would never go to this place again!!

Great pizza! To many choices to list. I had chicken quesadilla & Hawaiian chicken. Also had the apple crisp. Price was very reasonable.

Use to love this place. It's fallen off a little. But it would be hard not to with the rep they have. People will come regardless of how the pizza is.

Pizza by the slice is a lost art in today's world of cheap chain pizzas. Antonio's feels like an authentic pizza place that should be in a neighborhood in a metro market instead of at Northgate. You make your way in and see a few tables and a snake line that is often out the door. It moves quick, so don't be scared off. A few tables fill up pretty quickly, but you can usually find one when not during peak business hours. Not always the cleanest in the dining area, but it is a college town dive. What do you expect? The slices are big, but not too filling. I normally get two slices when I visit. One has to be pepperoni, which is the perfect ratio of crust, sauce, cheese, topping. The second slice I usually pick from one of the off the wall offerings they have available. The spicy beef taco, and chicken quesadilla pizzas are great. They never over sauce the pizza and the crust is a nice midpoint between crispy and chewy. One of my favorite places in College Station.

Texas has never been known as a pizza state, and BCS has never been known as a pizza town(s). That's just a fact. Another fact is that until Antonio's came here, pizza in BCS was just bad, period. Mediocre chains, or weird super cheesy, greasy places like Leaning Tower that didn't have what it takes. This place "is what it is." The pizza slices are large, cheap, and there are a huge number of variations. One slice and a salad are enough, but Thursdays they have a three for one deal. I like the basic tomato, basil and mozzarella one. Some go for the stomach churning one with ranch dressing. Whatever. You'll find a slice you like. Good cheap filling college student grub, nothing more or less. And that's just fine. A regular in the lunch rotation.

I love this place! It's the best and most creative pizza place in town! I love the crispy crust and how you can pick different slices of different flavors. I recently changed things up and tried the deep dish and it was awesome! I love you Antonio's :)

I love this place. The line always moves fast and there are so many different pizza options. My only compliant is that sometimes when they warm up my pizza, it's still cold. Great place for after class or after northgate!

Pizza is DELICIOUS and price is good. The slices are huge! Everything is as expected. Seating indoor and out. Pretty chill place.

I'm a fan! If you are one who loves to try a twist on the traditional, than this is your place when in the B/CS area. This has become a Saturday ritual, for sure. They have many slices to choose from, yes, but I prefer to build-my-own; for the most part it's always consistently delicious and made to order. If there has been a mistake, the staff has quickly fixed the errors with no questions ask - awesome service. Thanks for filling my pizza-needs and keep doing what you do!

Antonio's is one of my favorite places to eat in cs. They have an awesome variety of pizzas. I have tried a good portion of them and are all very good. My favorites are the chicken bacon ranch and the pepperoni and hamburger pizzas. If you go from 2-5 you can get 3 slices for the price of 2. All the ingredients are fresh and everything is homemade. A must try if your craving pizza is CS.

I've never understood the fascination of Antonio's. They have some unique combinations an interesting menu, but I've always found that their pizzas taste pretty stale to me. In a pizza, I usually enjoy the crust, but here it tastes like the crust is overcooked and tough. It's never tasted like "fresh out of the oven" pizza for me.

Pretty good pizza, nice crust, good toppings. Could be a little better but it is a good place to eat.

I stopped here around 10:30 on a Friday night and got a Steak Taco slice. It was big fresh and very good. For around $3.50 it was a good deal. There are tables outside so you can enjoy the evening... When I'm in College Station next, I will stop by again for a slice or two of good pizza!

I'm originally from New York, I LOVE pizza. I have eaten some of the best pizza you will ever find, the water used really makes a difference. This is why people ship their water from New York to make their pizza. That being said, this is hands down the best pizza is College Station. When I want pizza that transports me back to New York without a plane ticket, I go here. Case closed. Order one of their chicken pizzas or a sausage pizza and thank me later. I took off one star because the tables are usually unavailable and/dirty. This pizza is a go.

Here's the scenario. You've taken some scooby snack shots. You've downed some beers at the Corner. You've hit on multiple Tri Delts and gotten rejected. What do you do now? You go to Antonio's since he wont ever let you down. Antonio is best enjoyed when you are plastered and just want an awesome slice of pie. The Chicken Bacon Ranch is highly recommended, but honestly everything is good. It's huge NYC type of pies, reheated to order. The crust is thin and extremely crunchy. You can hear the shatter when you bite. Antonio, you fueled me and eased the next morning hangover during my college years. For that, I truly appreciate it.

I don't know if it's the lack of good places to eat in College Station or what, but I love Antonio's! The crust is nice and crispy, and there are SO MANY PIZZAS. So many toppings. I always get overwhelmed with the choices!!! The guy at the front seemed pretty impatient when we were selecting our pizzas (it was our first time) but whateva.

Moved to BCS recently as a non-college resident, and needed a place to cure that NY style pizza fix. Antonio's does that with their own flare. However, I'm not the typical 2:00am customer, I'm a take out fan on other occasions. Unfortunately, they lost business tonight due to their agreement with AggieFood.com . The service was less than mediocre and juvenile to boot. If you're looking for Antonio's pizza at times other than a late night cure, swing in and pick it up, the delivery service is a waste of time and energy.

This place is great for lunch. Pizza slices are huge and they have a ton of fun and random flavors. A favorite of mine is pesto tortellini. Their lunch special is great: buy 2 pieces and get a drink for free.

The pizza is very good. Going through and ordering the pre-made pies through the line is fine, if you are in a hurry. But, order a whole pie, fresh, and you'll be glad you did. SO much better! Be warned, the soundtrack, after dark, is gangster rap. I don't mind, but it's not necessarily something I think most folks really have an ear for.

Best Place to grab a bite to eat after a night on Northgate with tons of options for toppings. Quick service and cheap prices
